Two Great Flexiteek Projects from Ocean Boatworks

Ocean Boatworks has been busy these last several months with many projects on some great boats. I’m especially proud of two projects for installing Flexiteek decking on boats for North Marine and SAFE Boats, and I’d like to share the details.

Northern Marine is a manufacturer of high-end, custom yachts. They build to extremely high standards, so I was very gratified to be tasked with the decking on a custom trawler. The end result really improved the overall appearance of the boat, and the Flexiteek decking not only provides beauty, but will also need a minimum of maintenance. The owners can expect a long life for their new decking.

According to their web site, “SAFE Boats International (SAFE) is an American-owned aluminum boat manufacturer and leading supplier to military, federal, state and local law enforcement, fire and rescue agencies throughout North America and around the world.” Their reputation rests on their success in producing top-quality, highly reliable vessels. They came to Ocean Boatworks to install Flexiteek decking on a new tender for a yacht named “Le Grand Blue.” The new decking easily meets the standards of the mother ship, and the installation went perfectly. The decking will be a great addition to this beautiful vessel.
